Carved Continental Chest

A carved walnut chest of two short drawers over one long drawer. The drawer fronts are carved with a Green Man motif on each panel surrounded by scrolling grape vines. The top is inlaid with a series of diamonds. The sides are built of fielded panels and mounted with a heavy iron carrying handle. Possibly Spanish or Italian.
