A fine quality Chippendale period giltwood mirror. The well-proportioned frame includes several architectural elements including a triangular broken pediment centered by a carved shell, trailing swags down the sides, egg-and-dart carving, and a concave shell carved into the apron. The beveled glass may be the original and is possibly re-silvered.
