A George II Period Oak Dresser Base
An oak dresser on turned and blocked front legs ending in bun feet. Below a molding under the drawers is a scallop-shaped apron outlined with an applied beading. The drawers are inlaid with a banding which goes around the edge and also divides the drawer fronts vertically. The brasses appear to be original. The timber retains a terrific color and patina.
