Carved Tripod Table with Dish-Top

A George II period tripod table with a beautifully carved base. The single-board top is applied with a dished rim. The fluted stem is carved with twist-reeding and an egg-and-dart motif. The elegantly drawn legs are carved with acanthus leaves that trail towards the ball and claw feet. Retaining a warmly faded color.
