An unusually large birch wood tankard, the lid carved with a crowned lion holding a spear and inscribed with the year 1810. The handle is also topped with a carved lion. Terrific patina and great burr figuring to the grain. A section of the side has come out due to age splits and been glued back in place. Small losses to the lion at the top of the handle.
