A Pair of Leather-Covered Hall Chairs
A pair of William and Mary period high-back hall chairs. The form is lovely, but the star is the beautifully patinated leather punctuated by brass dome head nails. The bobbin-turned front legs are joined by a high barley twist stretcher. With two stretchers running front to back down each side and two additional stretchers running side to side. A couple old metal brace repairs below the seat of one chair.
