Rare Windsor Settee

A rare Windsor comb-back settee in beech with an elm slab seat. Completely original and retaining a superb color and patina. The turned legs are connected by turned stretchers. From David Knell's English Country Furniture: "A bench with back and arms, or 'settee', of Windsor form is very rare within the English furniture tradition."
