An English occasional table in mahogany with a green variegated marble top. Stamped underneath the base "W & C Wilkinson 14 Ludgate Hill 8623." The two-inch thick top has a molded edge to give a lighter appearance. The molded legs end in scroll feet. Wilkinson was a London cabinetmaking firm active from 1808-87 that was known to stamp their pieces variously as Wilkinson, Wilkinson and Sons, and W & C Wilkinson.
